Gunman on the Loose after Four People Shot in Astoria

QUEENS, New York – A gunman is on the loose tonight wanted in a grisly quadruple shooting this afternoon in Astoria that has one person in critical condition. The trigger man unloaded on his victims around 4:45 this afternoon in the courtyard of NYCHA’s Ravenswood Houses at 22-01 36th Ave, leaving shell casings scattered on the pavement. The suspect reportedly got away in a black four door Jeep.
Neighbors said they heard multiple shots “Bang bang bang”. A witness who refused to be on camera said a group of people has been partying and drinking all night and morning in that courtyard, and she heard multiple gun shots from a block away.
