Just before 1:30am, a fire engulfed the non occupied building on Rosedale Avenue. Firefighters on scene called for a two alarm fire response to help extinguish the flames that were seen piercing out of the homes windows.

We talked to neighborhood resident and 911 caller, Myriah, who stated that she heard the sound of glass breaking and when she looked out of her window she saw flames and a house on fire.

A Mayday was issued for a firefighter who was then found and treated on scene. EMS transported five injured members of service to an area hospital for further treatment.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
