“F*** Lockdown” Polar Bear Plunge Goes On Despite Being Canceled

January 1 2021 – BROOKLYN, New York: Dozens of groups gathered in Coney Island for an unofficial Polar Bear Plunge. Event that is hosted every year, was canceled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, despite this, the people came and dove into the ocean anyway.

Many said that they came because it’s a yearly tradition, at least one came to spite the lockdown cancelations. But nearly all agreed the the event shouldn’t have been canceled.
