Early Morning Fire in Astoria

January 17 2020 – ASTORIA, QUEENS:

Fire raged through a 3-story mixed use apartment building at around 8:30 on Friday morning, the temperature at the time was about 22 degrees, and the wind helped fuel the blaze. Several minor injuries were reported, including three firefighters, one we saw being treated for minor cuts after a fall from slippery ice on scene.
