Disruptions and Chalk Vandalism across New York City on Earth Day by Climate Activists
April 22 2025 MANHATTAN, New York – “Greed=Death” tagged on the Charging Bull in NYSE by Climate activists with Extinction Rebellion, on the National Earth Day.
After defacing Charging Bull statue with chalk spray, climate activists cleaned it off the Bull.
Two climate activists arrested after defacing windows of Meatpacking District TESLA Showroom.
Extinction Rebellion tagged “F Off DOGE” and “WE DO NOT CONSENT” among other writings on the windows.
Press release read: “Climate disaster will destroy everything in our society, including billionaires. There is no future on a planet ruled by billionaires, where profit outweighs life and the earth burns. This truth can no longer be whispered. It cannot be contained within the messages of our petitions and posters. It must be shouted. From the rooftops. From every corner of our dying world. The UN will never save us. No government or head of state will ever save us. They do not have that power, only we the people do”.

Later in the day, Protesters block building entrance and roadway in Midtown Manhattan.
The group gathered at Columbus Circle as part of a series of protests that took place across Manhattan today on Earth Day.
Later in the night NYC Ballet was also DISRUPTED as climate activist shouted – “It’s A Climate Emergency”
Next day after Earth Day, on April 23rd – Climate Activists SPRAY PAINTS Presidential Placard at Trump Tower in NYC.
Shouts “This is our country! This is our planet!” as he is led away in handcuffs by the Secret Service.
When activists attempted to clean up the chalk spray, they were told to leave.
