Child Killed in Queens After being Struck by Vehicle

August 20 2022 QUEENS, New York – A 4-year-old boy was hit by a car and pronounced dead in Jamaica part of Queens on Saturday evening, police said.

Incident occured near 117-23 147th Street just after 6 p.m., officials said.

4-year-old boy was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.

Investigation is ongoing.
