Chai Urgent Care – Rapid Testing Site For Coronavirus in Brooklyn

March 20 2020 – BROOKLYN, NY:
Chai Urgent Care at 3808 14th Street in Brooklyn has become a rapid Coronavirus testing site as the outbreak within the Hasidic population soars.
Almost 250 Orthodox Jews in Borough Park and Williamsburg were confirmed with the virus as of Wednesday. Three clusters arrived after the community was criticized for hosting a large wedding ceremony.
Chai Urgent Care was declared an eligible testing facility for the disease by New York City health officials. In order not to endanger regular patients, testing will be conducted in tents outside their clinics and the buildings kept sterilized.
