Brooklyn Teen Killed, Shot in the Chest Sitting in Parked Vehicle

February 06, 2022 – Brooklyn, NY: Early Sunday morning NYPD from the 81st precinct responded to shot-spotter technology activation, upon arrival officers observed shell casings in the roadway. According to police, an 18-year-old male was shot in the chest while sitting inside of a parked vehicle in front of 792 Green Avenue in Brooklyn.

Following a preliminary investigation and hospital canvas, it was determined that the 18-year-old male with gunshot wounds to his chest was transported privately to NYC Health + Hospitals-Woodhull, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

There are no arrests at this time and the investigation into this shooting incident is ongoing.
