Bronx Building Burns for Five Hours

A massive 5-alarm fire burned through a wood palette yard and spread to the nearby warehouse in Hunts Point, Bronx on Monday. Firefighters fought the blaze for over five hours as thick black smoke billowed into the sky and the wall of flames consumed the building. 138 firefighters from 39 units responded to the Hunts Point fire which started just before 4:30pm. No injuries have been reported.
