BREAKING: One Found Dead Following Manhattan Apartment Blaze

November 20, 2022 MANHATTAN New York – At least one person has been reportedly found dead following a heavy apartment fire near Broadway & W 204th Street in the Inwood neighborhood of Manhattan NYC.

Occupant of 3rd floor apartment was found with serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital for further treatment but did not survive, officials said.

According to a statement made by on scene fire chief, firefighters were met with heavy fire conditions and a large volume of smoke as they made their way through a cluttered apartment.

According to FDNY radio transmissions, one person was found dead of unknown reasons. The cause of fire has yet to be determined by fire marshal’s as the investigation into the blaze is underway.
