Bodega Worker Shot Dead in Crown Heights, Brooklyn

February 26, 2024 BROOKLYN, New York – A Brooklyn bodega worker was shot and killed by a patron on Monday afternoon, cops said.

Nazim Berry, 36, was shot at least once in the head and found by police on the sidewalk outside of the Amin Deli on Franklin Avenue near Lincoln Place in Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn.

Nazim was rushed to Kings County Hospital with a critical injuries and pronounced deceased, police said.

At around 4:18pm, police responded to the shooting. No reported arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
