Black Teenager Jumped by White Teens that Threw Banana in Hate Crime in NYC Subway
March 26, 2025 BROOKLYN, New York – Police investigating report of a teen jumped in hate crime near Coney Island Stillwell Avenue Station in Brooklyn.

According to police, a 16-year-old boy was jumped by a group of white teens on his way to school. Cops said the victim was confronted by a group not known to him on the mezzanine level of the Brooklyn subway station and started to harass him.
Police said, the white teens allegedly mocked the black teen with racial slurs including the N-word and throwing a banana at him before assaulting him.
The injured teen was hit repeatedly in the head along with punching and kicking to his body, cops said.








A group of five to nine white teen males attacked the victim on Wednesday at around 8 a.m. Monday at the Stillwell Ave. subway station in Coney Island.
Two teens aged 14 and 16, were taken into police custody in connection with the assault with charges pending a full investigation.
