Arrests and Clashes at “No More Shelters!” Protest in Bensonhurst Brooklyn

July 17 2024 BROOKLYN, New York – Heavy clashes and Arrests as locals fight over barricades with NYPD in protest of new homeless shelter being built in their neighborhood.

The community has gathered to protest the location where a shelter is planned to operate at on the corner of 25th Ave and 86th Street in Brooklyn.

Construction workers were seen on site boarding up the building this morning.
