52 year-old killed by suspected drunk driver in Queens

November 20 2020, Queens, New York – a 52 year-old male, who was driving Toyota Camry at Union Turnpike and Parsons Boulevard in Queens early this morning 4:15 a.m.

Victim, Daniel Crawford was struck, and killed by a suspected drunk driver, 22 year-old male in a Mercedes, who was possibly speeding at the time, according to official sources.

Further investigation by the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad determined vehicle #1, a Toyota Camry, operated by the deceased was traveling southbound on Parson Boulevard, entering the intersection. Vehicle #2, a 2016 Mercedes Benz, operated by a 22-year-old male, traveling eastbound on Union Turnpike, entered the intersection and struck vehicle #1 on the passenger side.

Victim was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Suspect was taken into custody after performing a sobriety test on scene. His charges are currently pending and are not confirmed. Check back for updates.
