51-year-old shot dead in the Bronx

On Saturday May 2, 2020 at approximately 1520 hours police responded to a 911 call for a male shot in front of 2522 Holland Avenue, within the confines of the 49th Precinct. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unconscious and unresponsive 51-year-old male with gunshot wounds to the head and torso. EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
