5-year-old Child Killed in Hit And Run Collision in Queens

September 1 2022 QUEENS, New York – A 5-year-old boy was struck and killed in hit-and-run collision on Thursday evening in Queens, cops said.

Police say the child and his parents were crossing the street near 100th Street and McIntosh Street, when a Dodge Ram truck driver hit him with his car and kept going, officials said.

Incident occured around 5:30 p.m. in Elmhurst part of Queens.

The child sustained severe head trauma and body injuries, he was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
