128 year-old Church burns down in a 6 Alarm fire in NYC

December 5 2020 Manhattan, New York – Heavy Flames engulfed multiple buildings this morning in East Village.

Fire started on the first floor of a vacant building on 2nd Avenue and 7th street, spreading to the church and threatening a women’s shelter next door.

Middle Collegiate Church is a 128 year-old historic church, co-affiliated with the United Church of Christ and the Reformed Church in America.
